Czosnek
Thank you again for visiting Czosnek.  Our website was recently created in the beginning of 2006, however we have been a commercial producer of garlic since 1928.  We operate in New York state, and supply local shops and farmers markets with our high quality produce.  We grow and cultivate garlic in outdoor gardens that are located within our facilities.  As a family owned farm, we also grow many other types of produce other than garlic, such as chile peppers, corn, tomatoes, we even grow exotic flowers.  Although our farms are family owned and operated, we employ 125 people.  These employees are varied in position, such as farm workers, delivery personal, machinists, administrative staff, and many more.  We have both outdoor crops, as well as indoor garden facilities for our more temperature sensitive produce.

Czosnek was created due to popular demand.  Our staff and customers kept asking us if we have a website, so we finally put one up.  Although we put our website up due to popular demand, we do have very specific goals in mind for the website, and as you will see the website's content will grow over time.  We will eventually add a very detailed and specific section regarding the processes involved in growing garlic.  The process is rather complex, and so we will outline the whole procedure from start to finish.  We also plan to add all sorts of fun facts and recipes about garlic, as we don't want to completely bore you with cultivation details alone.  Aside from adding garlic related content to the website, we also plan to include a section about our family and farm.  We are going to eventually have a family tree available online for your viewing so you can see everyone who has ever worked on the farm in our family from the very beginning of our family history.  We've been growing garlic since 1928, although our farming heritage goes back much further then that, and I have been able to trace some it as far back as 1742.

When we decided to create the website, we had some initial trouble selecting a name.  Obviously all of the generic garlic domains were taken, so we had to get a bit creative.  I then thought to myself, I wonder what the Polish language word for garlic is, and sure enough, it was available.  So thus, Czosnek was born.  My father's side of the family are Polish, originating from the Mazuria region of northern Poland, or also known as the lakes region.  Anyways, I thought the domain name was an excellent catch, and since we have some common thread, it sure seems like it will serve it's purpose well.  I should also mention that I do speak a little Polish, and may even have an Aunt of mine translate the entire website into a Polish version, after all I do expect some Polish visitors with this domain, and would like for them to be able to surf the site in their native tongue.  Anyways, I want to thank you again for stopping by, if you would like to send us some feedback about the site, please use the email form available on the contact us page.
